Linda Lou Brickey, age 76 of Hastings, formerly of Hesperia and Fremont, passed away Friday, January 21, 2022, at the home she shared with her daughter. Linda was born on March 1, 1945, in Muskegon Michigan to Carrie Inez Baker (Jamerson). Linda was later adopted by Arthur John Henry Kirchenbauer when she was 2 years old. Linda met and later married Raymond A. Brickey on February 26, 1965, in Holton Michigan. Raymond preceded her in death on May 16, 2009. Linda had been a resident of the Hesperia area for many years and had moved to the Hastings area to be closer to family and her special friends the Casey Family. Linda enjoyed raising, breeding and showing horses for many years. She made so many lifelong friends from those activities. There are far too many to list, each and every one had a special place in her heart. She was so very blessed by the people God had put in her life. Linda is survived by her daughters and grandchildren – daughter, Sara Brickey, of Hastings, Michigan and her son, Seth Brickey of Anchorage, Alaska; daughter - Lynnie (Jay) Anderson of Pellston, Michigan and their children, Amber (Thomas) Russell, Dylin Anderson of Dallas, Texas; daughter, Cristi (Jim) Brophy of Wyoming Michigan and their children, Cordy Brophy of Grand Junction, Colorado, Jolin Brophy, Cale Brophy and Jaxon Brophy of Grand Rapids Michigan. Linda & Raymond had been blessed with a gift in "daughter" Jannie Douvlis of Chicago, Illinois and her children Anthea and Aris. Linda had several nieces and nephews that also blessed her life along with her constant companion's her dogs, Chester, Joelee and Reagan. There will be a Private Family Service at a later date. Linda will be laid to rest with her loving husband Raymond in the West Cemetery in Hesperia Michigan.
