Linda L. Bush, age 67 of White Cloud, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2009 at her home following a short illness. Linda was born on February 4, 1942 in Hart, Michigan to Claude E. and Minnie A. (Markillie) France and graduated from Shelby High School in 1960. Linda later met Stanley Bush Sr. in Lincoln, Nebraska and they were married on October 14, 1961 in Stillwell, Oklahoma. Linda later moved to White Cloud in 1971 from Lincoln, Nebraska. Linda started her waitress career at the North Star Caf in White Cloud, also worked at Oakridge Restaurant in Newaygo and later at M & L Caf in Fremont until her retirement in 1992 after 30 years. Linda enjoyed visiting with her friends at work and in the community, had been an avid bowler, enjoyed dancing, and was known for cooking and especially her macaroni and cheese. She especially cherished her time spent with family, whether it was camping or simply setting around the campfire. Linda was also a member of the White Cloud Eagles Auxiliary. Linda is survived by her husband of 47 years, Stanley Sr. of White Cloud; her children, Stanley Bush Jr. of Muskegon; Deanna Bush of Mattawan, Michigan; her grandchildren, Levi Bush, Naomi Bush, Brock Bush, and Taylor Bush all of Muskegon; her brother, Clement (Carol Jean) France of Holton; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Carol Ann Williams and her 2brothers, Claude Junior France and Charles Earl France. Memorial services were held on Friday, April 3, 2009 at 1pm at the Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel with Chaplain Judy Corey, Hospice of Michigan Chaplain presiding.
