Linda A. Yager, age 64, of Holton, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2011, in Muskegon. Linda was born on February 26, 1947, in Muskegon, to John and Edith (Burke) McBride and married Duane Yager on June 19, 1965, in Holton. She enjoyed crafting and was a member of the Red Hat Society. Linda was a member of the Holton United Methodist Church and loved to spend time with her precious grandchildren. Linda is survived by her husband of 46 years, Duane; sons, Duane (Marcey) Yager Jr. of Newaygo and Tyler (Becky) Yager of Troy, Illinois; 5 grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob, Matthew, Alec, and Sam; brothers and sisters, Ed (Karla) McBride of Walkerville, Ken (Yvonne) McBride of Coopersville, Joan McBride of Lakewood, Sue Magner of North Muskegon, Jim (Chris ) McBride of Muskegon, and Ed (Barb) McBride of Fruitport; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother John McBride, and grandson Ben Yager. Visitation will held on Saturday, September 17, 2011, from 2 4 PM and from 6 8 PM at the Crandell Funeral Home in Fremont. Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 4 PM at the Holton United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Holton.
