Lisa Gay Adamy, age 56 of Newaygo, passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at her home. Lisa was born on March 1, 1965 in Grand Rapids to Frank and Linda (Katsma) Adamy Sr. and graduated from Godwin High School. Lisa later moved to the Newaygo County area where she had been a homemaker and enjoyed reading, arts and crafts, hunting and loved all animals. Lisa is survived by her long time partner, Richard VanDyke and his children and grandchildren; her children, Michael Adamy of Port Orange, Florida; Derek Rider of Sparta; Randall (Bethanie) Rider of Kent City; Stephanie (Eric) Rider Hollebeek of Grand Rapids; her grandchildren, Michael, Andrea, Mikena, Rylan, Jacob, Madison, Rogyn and Colton; her father, Frank Adamy Sr. of Newaygo; her brother, Frank (Tamitha) Adamy Jr. of Alabama; many nieces and nephews. Lisa was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Adamy. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held at a later date with family.
