Lois Ruby Hunt, age 82 of Hesperia and Fremont, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont. Lois was born on April 28, 1938 in Muskegon to Leslie John and Lillian (Klomprens) Wills and graduated from Holton High School. Lois met and married Carl H. Hunt on October 13, 1956 in Muskegon and Carl preceded her in death on October 5, 2020. Lois has been a lifelong resident of the Fremont and Hesperia area and had helped operating the family apple orchard. Lois truly loved her husband, Carl and found her greatest joy in life being a mother to her children – offering guidance, love and a wonderful home to her family. Lois is survived by her children, Cyndi Hunt of Newaygo; Joni (Terry) Varboncoeur of Fisher, Indiana; Jerry (Becky) Hunt of Fremont; her grandchildren, Tiffany, Travis, Tyler, Curtis, Nicklaus, and Davis; her sister, Noneen Roen of Twin Lake; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl and by sisters and brothers. Following her wishes, private graveside services will be held at the West Hesperia Cemetery following cremation.
