She was a sweet and loving person who loved us all, especially her children and their families. God bless her soul. Posted 7/8/2010 My condolence to the Lois Eldred family. She was a wonderful person and good friend of my mother Dorothea Sanders. From Art Sanders in Spain Posted 7/9/2010 The years go by and we often lose track of the people who really played a caring role in our lives. Such is the case with Lois, as she was the nurse who introduced me to her obstetrics department when I moved from Philadelphia to Grand Rapids and on to Fremont. She ran her department so efficiently it was such a pleasure to start my career at Gerber Hospital to work with her and under her tutelage. Hers was not an easy life in those yrs. raising four sons as a widow and having to carry the load of the sole wage earner with a very full time job that carried tremendous responsibility. How we all respected and admired her strength. May she now rest in peace in Gods hands and my condolences go out to all her family as her energy and enthusiasm in whatever she undertook will surely be missed . I am for sure the better for having known you Lois , thank you. Peace go with you all, Mary Ann Mare Dominiak on Croton Pond Posted 7/9/2010 hi everyone, just wanted to send a note in remembrance of lois. she was a wonderful lady and i was glad to have her in my life for the last 30-40 years. i always admired her for being the strong woman she was (she had to be to put up with my g'pa kocky!)....and her zest for life. i'm sure this carries on your lives. so, keep her memories alive in your heart, i know i will. kristy (ellis) ibsen Posted 7/10/2010 Just wanted to send our condolences to Lois' family, she was a wonderful person. I know our family was better for having her in our lives. My grandfather (Karl Eldred) was a very lucky man to have had her as a wife. My mother (Joyce Ellis) adored Lois. I know I will always have a place for Lois in my heart, as everyone who met her. Walt & Karla(Ellis) Cebulski Foresthill, Ca. Posted 7/12/2010
