Londa Mae Howe, age 66, of Newaygo passed away on Friday, September 1, 2017, at her home with her family by her side. Londa was born on August 27, 1951, in Jacksonville, Illinois, to Edward Luther and Betty June (Winchester) McGee and later married Elon S. Howe on October 3, 1981, in Decatur, Illinois. Londa enjoyed crafting, crocheting, watching her birds, and caring for her cats. She shared a love of music with her husband, playing piano while he played the violin.

Londa is survived by her husband, Elon; children, Jannifer (Pat) Anderson of Newaygo, Barbara (Ronald) Leyder of Newaygo, Eldon (Tonya) Howe of Newaygo, Edgar (Lori) Howe of Michigan City, Mary (Tim) Jacobs of Big Rapids, and Stephanie (Joe) Potter of Newaygo; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Edward (Mary) McGee of Illinois, and Bruce McGee of Ohio; and son-in-law, Marty Potter of Newaygo. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Betty; brother, Eric McGee; and daughter, Chanin Potter.

Memorial services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, September 8, 2017, at the Big Prairie Community Church with Pastor Tom Force officiating. Interment will be in Big Prairie Cemetery. Friends may share memories and condolences online at www.crandellfh.com.
