Loren R. Silman, age 74 of White Cloud, passed away Thursday, June 3, 2010 at his home following a short illness. Twila, children and grandchildren, I extend my deepest sympathy and prayers for the loss of your beloved husband and father. May Our Lord watch over you during this time. Kit Snow White Cloud Posted 6/4/2010 Twila, and extended family members: May the God of all comfort bring you comfort at this time of separation. God is gracious and this separation is temporary, as we will join Loren and all the saints for eternity in the presence of Jesus Christ who lives and reigns forever. Knowing this, certainly brings comfort, but the loss is real and always with us as we continue our lives here. As difficult as this time is for all of you, it does get easier with the passing of time, but you will always miss him. Loren had a wonderful since of humor and was a compassionate man reaching out to others without fanfare or the need to be recognized. Cherish your wonderful memories of Loren as the days and years continue. Sincerely, Vivian James - De Jager - Trimpe Traverse City Posted 6/7/2010 Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in a pretty and well preserved body, But rather to skid in broadside, thoroughy used up, totally worn out, and, and proclaiming, "WOW,what a ride !!! He was loved he will be missed he will not be forgotten. My uncle had a wonderful ride. James Posted 6/7/2010 I would like to share some memorys that i had with Grandpa, every summer i would go up to there house and stay for two or three weeks at a time and we would go fishing and i would help do yard work. He was always ready to tell you that you did a good job even if you didnt there are alot of good memorys with both him and grandma, another one is when i found a twenty dollar bill under the deck and i had to take the lattes off the porch and he told me if i did that i had to fix it but he didnt make me do that he was the one that was there to help me put it back together. The times that we all were up at there house to go hunting he would always let me shot at the first deer he never wanted to take the shot wven if i told him to kill it because i might miss he didnt care it was all about being in the wood with the grand kids and that is what we loved about him. He will be missed and will allways be loved LOVE ALWAYS Chris Boyer Posted 6/7/2010 Twila, boys and families, So sorry to hear about Loren ( Ray to me or should I say Mr. Silman) We have never forgot the times we shared with you and yours.
