Charles, Louis Louis Charles, age 79, of Fremont passed away on Friday, February 27, 2004 , in Mission , Texas . He was born on January 19, 19 25 in Fremont to Lawrence H. and Rosa (Dornbush) Charles and married Areldine Chaney on June 5, 19 48 in Hesperia. Louis retired from Teledyne Continental Motors and had attended the Fremont United Methodist Church . Surviving is his loving wife, Areldine of Fremont; sons, Dale (Carol) Charles of Kentwood, Michigan, Gary (Shirley) Charles of Paris, Tennessee, and Dennis (Kathy) Charles of Battle Creek, Michigan; 8 grandchildren; several great grand children; brothers, Jay Charles of Muskegon and Harold Charles of Wilson, Oklahoma; and sister, Mildred Van Lieu of Phoenix, Arizona,. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Carol Jo Charles Smith on August 1969; 3 brothers, Ray, Lawrence Jr., and Stanley; 5 sisters, Pauline, Luella, Ruth, Josephine, and Myrtle. Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 6, 2004 from the Crandell Funeral Home Chapel in Fremont with Rev. Larry Wood of the Fremont United Methodist Church presiding with interment in the Maple Grove Cemetery .
