Louise M. (Deam) Maurer, age 81 of White Cloud, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2003 at the Gerber Memorial Health Services in Fremont. She was born on July 4, 1922 in Alaska , Michigan to Jobe and Alma (Kotesky) Cope. She married Robert Deam on November 10, 1945 and Robert preceded her in death on April 5, 1969 . She later married Roy Maurer on November 19, 1977 and Roy preceded her in death on November 10, 2002 . She has been a resident of the White Cloud area since 1954 where she enjoyed needlework, sewing and her flowers. She was a longtime member of the Faith Bible Church in White Cloud. She is survived by her children, Nancy (David) Craigmyle of White Cloud; Katherene Dick of Crystal River, Florida; Gerald (Sue) Deam of Crystal River, Florida; Steven (Vicki) Deam of White Cloud; Tim (Helen) Deam of White Cloud; 28 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; 2 stepchildren, Tom Maurer of Grand Rapids; JoAnn (Larry) Mitchel of Grant; her sisters, Blanche (Harold) Phillips of Nashville, Michigan; Edith Eddie of Battle Creek. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Deam on April 5, 1969 and Roy Maurer on November 10, 2002; her sisters, Lucy Adams and Isabelle Harper; her brother, Chet Cope; 2 sons, Daniel and Andrew Deam. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, September 10, 2003 from the Faith Bible Church in White Cloud with Pastor Chuck Jones, Pastor Jim Van Noord of the Faith Bible Church and Pastor Michael Bayer of the White Cloud Church of God presiding with interment in the Big Prairie Everett Township Cemetery.
