Louise A. Eastling, age 83 of Big Rapids, formerly of Bitely, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Altercare of Big Rapids. Louise was born on October 22, 1931 in Detroit to William and Lillian Buchholz and later married Theodore Eastling on December 30, 1989 in Twin Lake. Theodore preceded her in death on February 27, 2005. Louise had been a nurses aid at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility for several years until her retirement in 1989 and enjoyed camping, painting, knitting and crocheting, talking baseball and watching her grandchildrens sporting events. Louise is survived by her daughters, Cynthia (Patrick) Gray of Auburn Hills, Michigan; Sandy (Tony) McCormick of Brownstown, Michigan; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; stepchildren, Corine (Barry) Pastor, George Eastling, and Troy Eastling; her sisters, Marilyn (Ernie) Dipzynski of Weidman, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Ronald Buchholz and William Buchholz and her sister, Carol Booth. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 1pm at the Woodville Community Church. Friends may consider memorial contributions to the Mecosta County Commission On Aging.
