Louise A. Jewell, age 80 of White Cloud, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at her home following a lingering illness. Louise was born on August 13, 1936 in Fremont to David Henry and Mable Isabell (Marshall) Prang and later married Joseph Stanley Jewell on August 9, 1958 in Hesperia. Stanley preceded her in death after 58 years of marriage on March 5, 2014. Louise grew up in White Cloud and was one of the first Girl Scouts in White Cloud. She later graduated from White Cloud High School and was a member of the Faith Bible Church in White Cloud. Louise enjoyed word search puzzles, was often times seen walking about in White Cloud, in summer or winter, in rain or shine; watching television, especially World Wrestling shows; watching and feeding the birds; was well known for her one liner punch lines; and fishing in her younger years.

Louise is survived by her children, Cynthia (Allen Glover) Cole of White Cloud; Patricia (Ed) Glover of Taylorsville, North Carolina; 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; her brother, Herman (Marissa) Becker of White Cloud; her sisters, Edna Becker of Flemingsburg, Kentucky; Margaret Williams of Medway, Ohio; several nieces and nephews. Louise was preceded in death by her brother, Garth Becker.
