Lowell C. "Lucky" Brantley, age 67 of White Cloud, formerly of Speedwell, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2020 at his daughters home in White Cloud. Lucky was born on August 13, 1952 in Monroe, Michigan to Onis Clyde and Wanda Vandetta (Hunter) Brantley and had worked in the commercial concrete building industry. Lucky enjoyed fishing, hunting, shooting pool and throwing darts, boating and being outside as long as the sun was up.
This man was had many names, like "Dad" "G-Pa" and others, but the one we knew him by was Lucky. Even though he may not be with us physically any longer, his spirit will always live on inside of us. Lucky lived a long hard journey and now that has come to the end here on earth. May his journey continue in our hearts so his memory will never die.
Lucky leaves behind his only daughter, Misty Brantley of White Cloud; many adopted kids and grandkids including – Butch and Donna Wakefield and their boys, Dawson and Eli; Linda Canavan with her children, Chad, Natasha, Sabrina and Dale; Johanna Owens; Amber Davis; Matt Davis; Daren Owens; Gina and Mike Oyler and their children, Magenta, Maegan, and Braiden; Brandon and Haverly Adams; Jamie Betancourt; Steve Jones; Marcie (Sean) Brumley; Texas Bailo – his aunt; nieces and nephews, Nick, Kristen, Jennifer Brantley; his brothers, Gary Brantley and Corky Brantley. Lucky was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Wakefield in 2014.
Memorial services will be held at the family home later in the summer of 2020 following Lucky's wishes for cremation. Friends may consider the Brantley family to assist with funeral expenses for memorial contributions in memory of Lucky. Arrangements by Crandell Funeral Home – White Cloud Chapel.
