Kuhns, Lucile Lucile Kuhns, age 82 of White Cloud, passed away Monday, October 23, 2006 at the Hillcrest Nursing Center in Muskegon. Lucile was born on October 8, 1924 in White Cloud to George and Sadie (Grabill) Dunham and later married Martin Kuhns on the family homestead in White Cloud on October 1, 1949. Lucile has been a lifelong resident of the White Cloud area where she had been a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, reading, knitting, and crafts, loved traveling and visiting new places. Lucile found great enjoyment spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was also a member of the Croton Community Church where she was enjoyed being active in the church activities and the fellowship of the church family. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Martin of White Cloud; her children, Deb Kuhns of Hart; Rod (Tammy) Kuhns of Newaygo; Marcia (Wayne) Holman of Muskegon; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; her brothers, LeRoy (Edie) Dunham of Kouts, Indiana; Foster (Gladys) Dunham of White Cloud; her sister, Betty Hastings of Cass City, Michigan. She was preceded in death by one son, Paul Kuhns. Funeral services were held on Monday, October 30, 2006 from the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel with Pastor Dwight Reed of the Berean Church presiding with interment in the Big Prairie Everett Township Cemetery.
