Luke W. Eaves, age 40, of Bitely passed away in Newaygo County. Luke was born on January 22, 1973 in Fremont to James Joseph and Molly Ann (Brake) Eaves and married Karla Renee Johnson on May 23, 2008 in White Cloud. Luke was an assistant manager for Valley View Pork in Walkerville. Luke spent many years in Alaska and enjoyed hunting, motorcycling, his horses, the annual Fathers Day fishing trip, and spending time with his friends and family. Luke is survived by his wife, Karla and step-children, Hanna and Dawson Palme of Bitely; mother, Molly (Alan) Varboncoeur of Hesperia; brother and sisters, Josh (Amanda) Eaves of Hesperia, Carmen (Keith) Varni of Ecuador, Katrina (Tom) Yates of Hesperia, Christine (Mike) Wyns of Hesperia, James M. Eaves, and Gail (Keith) Olsen of Fremont, and many special friends. He was preceded in death by his father James J. Eaves. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at 1 PM at the Crandell Funeral Home in Fremont. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6 8 PM at the funeral home.
