Lula D. Moore Lula D. Moore, age 92 of White Cloud, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2005 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont. Lula was born on October 11, 1913 in Brohman to Frank Albert and Stella Blanch (Wolfe) Jackson and later married Virgil Moore on May 25, 1935 in Newaygo County. Virgil preceded her in death on May 18, 1952.. Lula had taught school in Ramona and Brohman and later started work in the Newaygo County Treasurers office and then became the Newaygo County Treasurer for several years. She was a member of the White Cloud United Methodist Church. She is survived by her son, Roger (Carol) Moore of Clio, Michigan; her granddaughter, Heather Peek of White Cloud; 1 great grandson, Justin Johnson; 2 sister-in-laws, Millie Jackson of Brohman; June Mast of Muskegon; several nieces and nephews; a special friend, Ida Davis of White Cloud. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Bessie, Bertha and by her brother, Sam Jackson. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2006 at 11:00 a.m from the White Cloud United Methodist Church with interment in the White Cloud Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday, January 2, 2006 from 2-4 & 6-8 at Crandell Funeral home Chapel in White Cloud.
