McReynolds, Luther Neil Neil McReynolds, age 84, passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2004, in Lakeland Florida. Neil was born in Seymour, Texas, on August 10, 1919, and moved to Lakeland seven years ago from Fremont, Michigan where he had been a legal assistant for Gerber Products Company for many years. He was a lifelong member of Newaygo-Pilgrim Lodge No. 131 and was a navy veteran of WWII. Neil was a member of the Fremont United Methodist Church. Neil was preceded in death by his wife Muriel McReynolds. He is survived by his brother, Bill McReynolds of San Antonio, Texas; sisters, Mary Lee Owen of Fort Worth, Texas, Myra Tidmore of San Antonio, and Mildred Thomas of Vernon, Texas. Graveside memorial rites were held on August 12, 2004 at the Fremont United Methodist Church Memorial Garden. Arrangements by Crandell Funeral Home - Fremont Chapel.
