Lyle Ray Evans Sr., age 79, of Bitely, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2009, at Gerber Memorial Health Services in Fremont. Lyle was born on October 26, 1929, in Muskegon, to Hubert F. and Elizabeth (Krise) Evans and married Barbara Culver on November 24, 1959, in Newaygo. Lyle liked hunting, fishing, and spending time in the Michigan outdoors. He was a carpenter and proud Air Force Veteran of WWII. Lyle is survived by his wife, Barbara of Bitely; children, Emma Pulsipher of Bitely, Lyle R. Evans Jr. of New Orleans, Steve Evans of Bitely, and Scott (Jackie) Evans of Bitely; 2 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. Services will be held at a later time.
