Madeleine L. "Dolly" Ditlow, age 93 of White Cloud, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2002 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont. She was born on July 1, 1908 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin to Peter and Inga M. (Stone) Lynnes and married Albert E. "Ed" Ditlow on January 6, 1932 in White Cloud. Ed preceded her in death on November 6, 1990. She has been a lifelong resident of the White Cloud area where she had been a homemaker and former member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church. She had also been active in the Foster Grandparents Program in Newaygo County. She is survived by her sons, Doran A. (Margaret) Ditlow of Grant; Edward "Pete" (Thelma) Ditlow of Charlevoix, Michigan; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; her sister, Dorothy (George) Haines of White Cloud; her brother, Donald (Ila) Lynnes of White Cloud; brother-in-law, Dale Ditlow of White Cloud; several nieces and nephews.. Funeral services were held on Saturday, February 16, 2002 from the Crandell Funeral Home - White Cloud Chapel with Chaplain Judy Corey presiding with interment in the spring at the Lincoln Township Cemetery.
