Madeline A. Caldwell, age 74, of Sand Lake, formerly of Toledo, Ohio, passed away at home on Sunday, March 16, 2008. She was born on November 18, 1933, in Toledo, Ohio, to Alvis and Dorothy (Hughlett) Godsey and served in the United States Air Force and United States Coast Guard. Madeline married Thomas Frome in 1954 and later married Charles Caldwell. Madeline was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Sand Lake. Madeline is survived by her children, Michael (Lauren McKenna) Frome of Spring, Texas, Sue (Dan) Textor of Parrish, Florida, Diane (Stanford) Loeb of Lawrence, Kansas, and Lori (Tim) Layne of Sand Lake, Michigan; grandchildren, Michelle, Jacob, Nicholas, and Logan (Frome), Erik (Kenney) and Lindsey (Textor), Natelise, Alexander, and Aletha (Loeb), and Matthew, Andrew, Danny, Kristin, Anne, and Whitney (Layne); 17 great-grandchildren; a great great-grandchild, sisters, Dolores Dubaskas and Dorothy Cupps; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by Charles Caldwell; sisters, Shirley Marshall, and Bunny Kohn. Funeral services will be held on March 22, 2008 at the Funeral Home with interment in Solon Township Cemetery.
