Mae L. Moore, age 88 of White Cloud, formerly of Indiana, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at her granddaughters home in White Cloud following a long illness. Mae was born on April 13, 1920, in Tupelo, Mississippi to William and Amanda Pinky (Ryan) Jones and met and later married Lewis Allen Moore who preceded her in death. Mae had been a seamstress for several years and enjoyed gardening, camping, and special time with her grandchildren. Special thanks to Hospice of Michigan for all their help and support, all involved in her care, and especially to all her friends who lover her so much. She is survived by her grandsons, Michael (Connie) Pickern Jr., Laurence Pickern Jr., Rodney (Michelle) Pickern, and Jerry (Sam) Mears; granddaughters, Michelle (Chris Agulier) Pickern, Penni (Brian) Hold, and Mickie (Rick) Stauffer; great-grandchildren, James Moody, Alisha Gross, Rickey Stauffer, Conner Pickern, Jakob Pickern, Jenna Pickern, and Devin Pickern; special friends David and Misti Horton and Rylhe Horton; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sons, Laurence Pickern Sr. and Michael Pickern Sr. Funeral services were held on Saturday, January 17, 2009, at 12 noon from the Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel with Pastor Jeff Murchison of the Glory of Latter House Ministries presiding.
