Mae M. White, age 95, of Grant and formerly of Greenback, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2015, at the Fountain View Retirement Village in Grant. Mae was born on June 12, 1919, in Greenback, Tennessee, to Roy and Lola E. (Thompson) Murr and later married Garlin James White. Mae is survived by her daughter, Marilyn (Roy) Snell of White Cloud; 9 step-grandchildren; 3 step great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband and 8 brothers and sisters. Services will be in Tennessee with interment in Oakland Cemetery.
