Makayla Marie Richards, age 9 months, infant daughter of Anthony B. and Erica Lynn (Marks) Richards, of Fremont and formerly of Lake City , passed away Thursday, March 13, 2003 at her home following a long illness. Makayla was born on June 2, 2002 in Fremont , Michigan and enjoyed her swing, her fishees, and her dog, Middy. She is survived by her loving parents, Anthony B. and Erica L. Richards of Fremont; maternal grandparents, Lavern & Steve Marks of Fremont; paternal grandparents, Debbie & Tom Richards of Meauwataka, Michigan; her maternal aunt, Mary Marks of San Diego, California; paternal aunts, Kim (E.J) Harrigan of Miami, Florida; Candace Kimball of Manton; paternal uncles, Jeff (Robyn) Richards of Meauwataka, Michigan; J.J Kimball of Manton; Christopher Davids of Cadillac; her cousins, Nick & Drew Richards of Meauwataka; Jamie Kimball of Manton; Desiree Kimball of Manton; maternal great grandparents, Robert & Shirley Maiville, Texas; Betty Marks of Leroy, Michigan; many great uncles, aunts and cousins. Visitation was held on Monday evening from 6-8pm at the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel and Tuesday from 11am - 1pm from the Pruitt Livingston Funeral Home in Reed City with funeral services at 1pm at the Pruitt Livingston Funeral Home with Rev. David L. Dryer presiding with interment in the Leroy Township Cemetery .
