Marcia Kay Pierce, a beloved resident of Fremont, Michigan, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, April 29th, 2025, at the age of 73. Born in Fremont on Sunday, February 3rd, 1952, Marcia was a cherished daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend.

Marcia dedicated her career to providing excellent customer service, touching the lives of many with her kindness and patience. Outside of her professional life, Marcia was a woman of many passions, including gardening, knitting, and crocheting. She took great joy in sharing her creations with her loved ones. Her beloved dog, Reggie, was a constant companion who brought much happiness to her life.

Marcia found joy in the excitement of casinos, but nothing compared to the warmth she felt when surrounded by her family. She cherished every moment spent with her granddaughter, Jessie Kendziorski, who was the light of her life.

Marcia is survived by her daughter, Kristine (Jarek) Kendziorski, of Grant, MI; her sister, Debra (Gary) Pell; and her beloved granddaughter, Jessie Kendziorski. Marcia was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Barbara Thumser, her nephew, Brian Pell, and her brother, Gene "Butch" Thumser.

In addition, Marcia leaves behind her stepchildren, with whom she shared treasured bonds: Billy (Melissa) Pierce, Andrew (Jill) Pierce, and Sally Leissner.

A visitation in Marcia's honor will be held on Wednesday, May 7th, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Crandell Funeral Homes Inc. in Fremont, MI. Family and friends are invited to come and share their memories of Marcia and celebrate a life well-lived.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Newaygo County Compassion Home, a cause that was dear to Marcia's heart.
