Blurton, Margaret Burdi Margaret Burdi Blurton, age 79 of Fremont, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2005 at her sons home following a short illness. Margaret was born on September 2, 1926 in Chicago, Illinois to Andrew J. and Katherine A. (Miller) Burdi and later married James J. Blurton on October 28, 1950 in Fremont. James preceded her in death on October 18, 2001. Margaret moved to Fremont from Chicago in her teen years and has been a lifelong resident where she was a homemaker and member of the All Saints Catholic Church in Fremont. Margaret was a member of the All Saints Catholic Church Alter Society, enjoyed volunteering at NCCS making mittens and hats, was a former member of the Friends of the Library in Fremont, enjoyed knitting, reading and giving angels to her family and friends. She is survived by her children, Larry (Sheila) Blurton of Eagan, Minnesota; Sharon (Billy J.) Martin Jr. of Sandy, Utah; Ralph (Tina) Blurton of Bailey; her grandchildren, Shaun Martin; Joe (Kathy) Martin; Lance Blurton; Tara Blurton; Joe Blurton; Gina Blurton; 2 great grandchildren; her brother, Michael Burdi of Arizona. She was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Burdi in 1950. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, January 3, 2006 at All Saints Catholic Church in Fremont, with interment at Mt.
