Margaret Elizabeth Boyer, age 92, of Fremont, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2016, at Seminol Shores Living Center in Muskegon. Margaret was born on November 17, 1923, in Muskegon and had worked at Plumbs in Muskegon and then at Graichens in Fremont for over 16 years. Margaret enjoyed playing tennis, cribbage, and social activities with friends. She danced, skated, and sang in her own unique fashionable way brightening everyones day with the bright sparkle she had in her eyes. Margaret is survived by children, Paulette Boyer of Florida, David (Gayle) Boyer of Grand Rapids, Dan Boyer of Cedar Springs, and Kimberly (fiance` Seth Middlecamp) Jonker of Fruitport; grandchildren, Ryanne (Ryan) Richards, Brian Boyer, and Brian Steffens; great grandchildren, Devin, Cayden, and Makenna Steffens, and Jacob and Alivia Richards; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernie in 2009; sister, Velma Sellers; brothers, Rudy Pavlick and Peter Pavlick; and granddaughters, Carmen Boyer Steffens and Lisa Boyer Blood. The family also wishes to give special thanks to Kathy Alexander who not only was her niece, but a special friend in our mothers heart. There will be a memorial service for Margaret at 7 PM on Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at the Crandell Funeral Home in Fremont. There will be a time of visitation and greeting the Boyer family prior to the service starting at 6 PM. For a more lasting memorial friends are asked to consider The Diabetes Foundation.
