Margaret F. Green, age 90 of Newaygo, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2019 at The Brook in Newaygo following a lingering illness. Margaret was born on September 16, 1928 in Lincoln Park to Ben Carl and Mildred Edna (Ward) Cato and later married Jack Earl Green on July 4, 1947 in Muskegon. Jack preceded her in death in 2008. Margaret had been a teacher's aide at the Holton Public Schools for 18 years until her retirement and enjoyed cooking and reading. Margaret is survived by her children, Jackie Dee Martin; Joe (Thelma) Green; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; her brothers, Larry Cato and Don (Linda) Cato. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Ben Cato and Bob Cato; and daughter, Susan Straub in 2018. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM at the Green homestead at 3977 Brickyard Road Twin Lake, Michigan 49457.
