Grimstead, Margaret L. Margaret L. Grimstead, age 84 of Fremont , passed away Friday, December 5, 2003 at the South Haven Healthcare Center in South Haven. She was born on March 31, 1919 in Stathroy , Ontario , Canada to Walter and Florence Helena (Middleton) Brake and married Donald Grimstead on May 29, 1965 in Detroit . Donald preceded her in death on July 30, 2003 . She has been a resident of the Fremont area since 1989 and was a former member of the Women of The Moose in Fremont . She is survived by her daughter, Florence Sally (Gene) Wyman of South Haven; her sons, Charles (Janet) Jones of Jenison; Colen (Cheryl) Jones of Redford, Michigan; Jesse Whiting of Fremont; 9 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; her brother, Melvin (Lois) Brake of Redford, Michigan; her sister-in-law, Agens Brake of Chatham, Ontario, Canada;. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald on July 30, 2003; her parents, Walter and Florence Brake; her sister, Gertrude Petsch; three brothers, Harry, Walter and Larry Brake. Funeral memorial services were held on Thursday, December 18, 2003 at 11:00am from the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel with Rev. John Moser presiding.
