Margaret Karen Moon, age 77, of Rockford and formerly of Holton, passed away on July 4, 2021, at Boulder Creek Assisted Living in Rockford. Margaret was born on August 9, 1943, to Martin and Louise (Jorgensen) Moon. She earned a Master's Degree in Library Science from Eastern Michigan University and worked at Baker College in Muskegon where she was in charge of the library and other related services. After retiring from Baker, she worked many years at the Barnes & Noble bookstore in Muskegon. Margaret loved traveling (especially to her beloved Denmark), books, and her cats. Margaret is survived by her sister-in-law, Jean Moon, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her brothers and sisters, Maxine Matthews, Phyllis Moon, James Moon, Thomas Moon, Beatrice Kuyper, and Martin Moon, Jr. Graveside services will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery at a later date.
