Margaret Kelly Mumford, 65, of Grant, passed away surrounded by love.

Margaret was preceded in death by her mother, Bev; in-laws, Carol and Lee. She is survived by her beloved spouse, Dan; her children, Gabe, CJ (Kaylie), Brittani (Amanda); her stepfather, Rich; her grandchildren, and siblings who brought her immense joy.

Margaret had a deep love for people and a rare gift for making everyone feel welcome. She celebrated others wholeheartedly and lived without judgment. Known for her warmth and kindness, she was also remembered for her sassiness—an honest, spirited charm that made those around her smile and feel at ease.

She found happiness in baking and cooking for her family, especially celebrating Christmas, which reflected her generous and joyful spirit.

Margaret will be remembered for her love, her laughter, and the way she embraced everyone exactly as they were.

She will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Margaret's life will be celebrated at a visitation on Monday, December 22nd, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Crandell Funeral Homes Inc., located in Fremont, MI. Following the visitation, a special Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00 pm, also at the Crandell Funeral Homes Inc., where friends and family will gather to honor her memory.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Margaret's name to the Fremont Area Community Foundation, continuing her legacy of generosity and community service.
