Ortiz, Margaret Margaret Ortiz, age 84 of White Cloud, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2005 at her home. Margaret was born on June 26, 1920 in Ohio to Roscoe Franklin and Ida (Ashburn) McClain and later married Maxwell Crofoot. Maxwell preceded her in death in 1952. She later met and married Juan Ortiz on June 3, 1980 in White Cloud and Juan preceded her in death on September 2, 2000. Margaret had worked for he United States Goverment in Lima, Ohio during World War II and had also been a production worker at White Cloud Products for several years until her retirement. She was a former member White Cloud Eagles, enjoyed reading, being outdoors, watching her birds, traveling and going different places She is survived by her children, Rose Hall of White Cloud; Marian Price of White Cloud; Carolyn (Jr.) Hess of Big Flat, Arkansas; Betty (Wayne) Gustman of White Cloud; several grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cathy Lee Foster on May 24, 1986; by her brother, Elmo McClain; her 2 sisters, Ruth McClain, Olive Earl and by her former husband, H.R. Price on November 4, 1962.. Funeral services were held on Thursday, May 5, 2005 from the Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel with interment in the Big Prairie Everett Township Cemetery.
