Margaret Ann Schotts, age 79, of Holton passed away on Friday, September 2, 2022, at home. Margaret was born on September 1, 1943, in Muskegon County to Ernest Virgil and Geraldine (Pratt) Burkett and married Arthur Lee Schotts on April 25, 1959. She had worked as a nurse's aide in the area for many years and enjoyed playing the slots, her dogs, and time with her family. Margaret is survived by her sons, Arthur (Linda) Schotts Jr., Robert Schotts, and Gerald Schotts; grandchildren, Misty Longsdorf, Benjamin Jager, Christopher Jager, Barbara Fierro, Thomas Schotts, Samuel Schotts, Christine Wilke, Kayliegh (Dennis) Eely, Jackie (Bill) Gilliland; and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded is death by her husband, Arthur; father and mother, Ernest and Geraldine Burkett; son, James "Jimmy" A. Schotts; sisters, Margaret "Peggy" Schotts, Sylvia Hobby, and Mona Pfiffer; and brother, Donald L. Burkett. Private interment services will be held at Lincoln Township Cemetery at a later time.
