Marian L. Jones, age 87 of White Cloud, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at Nelsons Adult Foster Care Nursing Home in White Cloud. Marian was born on July 7, 1922, in Grand Rapids to Robert H. and Mary A. (Thompson) Tawney and married Ralph Jones on June 23, 1938 in White Cloud. Marian enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family. She is survived by her children, Ralph L. (Regina) Jones of White Cloud, Kenneth (Delight) Jones of Newaygo, and Norman (Mary) Jones of Grand Rapids; many grandchildren; several great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph in 1995; daughter, Judith Heintzelman; sons, Robert and Gerald Jones; and brother, Robert Tawney. Services will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2010, at 11 am, from the Plainfield Christian Church (7255 Pine Island Dr. Comstock Park) with Pastor Bruce Wilson officiating. Interment will be in Parkview Cemetery in Grant. Friends are asked to consider memorials to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
