Marian A. Rumsey, age 75 of Fremont, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2002 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont. She was born on May 24, 1926 in Hesperia to Charles and Ethel (Rossiter) Rumsey and graduated from Hesperia High School in 1944. She moved to Fremont in 1945 where she had worked at the Gerber Products Company for 42 years retiring on June 1, 1987. She is survived by her sisters, Vera Kraley of Hesperia; Helen (Harold) Smith of Hesperia; Evelyn (Edwin) Gillette of Bellevue, MI; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Beatrice Hren, Marguerite Balch; and Betty Gilbert; 2 brothers, Robert and Bill Rumsey. Following Marians request, cremation has taken place with no visitation or funeral services.
