Marie H. Blamer, age 82, of Holton, passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2012, at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont. Marie was born on October 13, 1929, in Fremont to Elmer and Helen (LeVigne) Bradley. Marie had worked at the Meadows in Fremont, was a member of the Holton American Legion Auxiliary for 50 years, and worked at the Holton American Legion for 20 years. Marie is survived by her children, Anita (Robert) Koehler of Twin Lake, Robert Brooks of Holton, Bradley (Tammy) Brooks of Holton, Gregory (Melody) Brooks of Muskegon, Diane Brady of Freesoil, Glen (Patty) Blamer Jr. of Holton, and Tony (Cindy) Blamer Jr. of Holton; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 6 great great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her brother, Elmer Bud Bradley. A celebration of Maries life will be held at 2 PM at the Fraternal Order Of Police Charles D.
