Marilyn Hunt, age 81 of Lexington, formerly of Hesperia, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2006 at the Medilodge of Yale, Michigan. Marilyn was born on September 10, 1924 in Conklin, Michigan, to Arthur and Ruth (Merrick) Crowley. She had been a longtime resident of the Hesperia area and had been a secretary at Herman Chevrolet in Ravenna, Sparta State Bank and Gerber Products until her retirement in 1975. She married Elvis Buck L. Hunt on December 23, 1966 in Hesperia. Elvis Buck preceded her in death on December 29, 2004. She was a member of the Hesperia Presbyterian Church and served as Newfield Township for 25 years. She is survived by her son, Danny (Starletta) Snowdin of Applegate, Michigan; 1 grandson and 5 great grandsons; her sisters and brothers, Helen (John) DeMull of Weslaco, Texas; Wayne (Sadie) Crowley of Grand Rapids; Wallace (Dorothy) Crowley of Muskegon; Theodore (Janice) Crowley of Ravenna; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Randy Snowdin in 1977 and by a granddaughter, Michele Flynn in 1997, great grandson, Justin Snowdin, great granddaughter, Abby Snowdin. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, May 3, 2006 from the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel with Rev. Richard Williams presiding with interment in the West Hesperia Cemetery in Hesperia.
