Marion A. DeKuiper, age 94, of Fremont, passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2004, at the Fountain View Retirement Village in Fremont. She was born on September 7, 1909 to William and Anna (Smith) DeKuiper and has been a longtime resident of the Fremont area. She had been a secretary at Fremont Mutual Insurance Company in Fremont for 42 years until her retirement in 1973 and was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ Church in Fremont. She is survived by her nieces, Kristian DeKuiper of Cranston, Rhode Island. Nancy Bazydlo of Gross Point, Michgian, and Sue McCintoc of Pittsford, New York and nephew, William DeKuiper of California. She was preceded in death by her brother, Guy DeKuiper and her sister, Pauline Cleminson. Funeral services were held on Friday, April 30, 2004, at 2:00pm from the Maple Grove Cemetery with Pastor Ray Dekker officiating.
