Marion Ruth Krouse, age 93, of Fremont passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2018, at Fountain View Retirement Village in Grant. Marion was born on March 24, 1925, in Plymouth, Indiana to John Newton and Evaline (Kelley) Davies and married Parker A. Krouse on June 17, 1944, in South Bend. Marion and Parker owned and operated Parker's Restaurant in Hesperia for many years. She enjoyed sewing, baking, crafts, and crossword puzzles. Marion attended Trinity Christian Reformed Church in Fremont.
Marion is survived by her children, James (Gay) Krouse of Fremont, John (Beverly) Krouse of Alder, Montana, Dora (Richard) Brimmer of Hesperia, and Kathryn (Bruce) DeGroot of Hesperia; six grandchildren, Brett (Sheri) Krouse, Chad Krouse, Wesley Brimmer, Breann (Joe) Conkle, Parker DeGroot, and Adam Krouse; thirteen great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchild; and brother-in-law, Walter Nemeth. She was preceded by her husband, Parker on January 25, 1988; and her sister, Donna Nemeth.
There will be no services at this time. Marion's final resting place will be in Montana. For a more lasting memorial, friends are asked to consider the activities fund at Fountain View in Grant or the Trinity Christian Reformed Church in Fremont.
