Marjorie Mae Jackson, age 87, of Holton, passed away on Monday, October 1, 2012, at the Leila & Cyrus Poppen House Residence in Muskegon. Marjorie was born on April 28, 1925, in Holton, to William and Emma (Anderson Fox) Swenson and married Karl W. Jackson on January 19, 1946, in Kalamazoo. Marjorie was a homemaker and teacher in the Holton area and loved being around her family. Her family and friends loved her positive attitude and sense of humor. Marjorie is survived by her children, Susan (Alan) Redmon of Nokomis, Florida, Bonnie (Craig) Rizley of Holton, Sandy (Dennis) Roybal of Rye, Colorado, and Dennis (Cindi) Jackson of Rancho CuCamonga, California; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and sister, Gladys Wilks of Holton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Karl W. Jackson on February 16, 2004; and sisters, Leonelle Lee Jackson and Frances Cregg. Memorial services will be announced at a later time.
