Marjorie May Vanderboegh, age 48 of Holton, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at her home following her lengthy battle and complications with Spinocerebellar Ataxia. Marjorie was born on October 1, 1974 in Muskegon to William Richard and Margaret Ann (Snider) Sharp and graduated from Kent City High School. Marjorie met and later married Jack Vanderboegh on September 25, 2004 in Holton and has been a resident of the Holton area for the past 19 years. Marjorie had worked at Rapidparts in Grand Rapids as a customs administrator for many years until her retirement. Marjorie loved listening to and attending Rob Thomas and Matchbox 20 concerts with Jack, watching Hallmark movies and reading. Marjorie especially treasured the time she spent with her family and loved her children and following their school and other activities and was proud of their accomplishments and achievements.
Marjorie is survived by her husband of 18 years, Jack Vanderboegh of Holton; her children, Mallory Sharp of Holton; Joslin Vanderboegh of Holton; Charles Vanderboegh of Holton; her sisters and brothers, Ken (Dolly) Sharp of Casnovia; Lori (Paul) Sandison of Ravenna; Diane (Derek) Lintemuth of Greenville; her brothers-in-law, Kevin Baker and Nick Paas; her mother-in-law, Julie Vanderboegh of Holton; many nieces and nephews. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, William and Margaret Sharp; her sisters, Kathy Baker and Deb Paas; her brother, Wade Sharp; her father-in-law, Jack Vanderboegh and her sister-in-law, Jennifer Vanderboegh.
VISITATION: Thursday, March 9, 2023 at the Crandell Funeral Home – Fremont Chapel 7193 W 48th Street Fremont MI 49412 from 4-7pm. FUNERAL SERVICES : Friday, March 10, 2023 at 11am at the Crandell Funeral Home – Fremont Chapel. INTERMENT : Oakwood Cemetery in Holton.
