Mark Alden Blodgett, age 63, of Howard City passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022. Mark was born on July 6, 1959, in Grand Rapids to Robert Gerald and Phyllis Arlene (Gort) Blodgett and had worked as a diesel mechanic for Atwood Forest Products in Cedar Springs and for Velting Contractors in Grand Rapids. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Mark is survived by his son, Mark Henry (Jillian Olman) Blodgett of Wyoming; mother, Phyllis Blodgett of Grand Rapids; sister, Marjorie (Robert) Bartlett of Hesperia; and many special friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Sr.; and brothers, Robert G. Blodgett Jr. and Craig Blodgett. Private interment services will be held at a later time.
