Mark Allen Weatherford, age 62 of White Cloud and formerly of Grand Rapids, passed away Friday, March 28, 2020 at the Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids. Mark was born on February 28, 1958 to Herman Moss and Dolores Jane (Waple) Weatherford in Detroit and later moved to Grand Rapids and eventually settled in White Cloud in 1997. Mark was affiliated with the White Cloud 7th Day Baptist Church in White Cloud where he had coached church league softball, enjoyed listening to music, watching sports, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. Mark was also a member of the White Cloud Eagles. Mark is survived by his significant other, Cheryl Cruzan of White Cloud; his children, Christy (Dean) Crotser; his brother, Robert (Pamela) Weatherford of Rockford; his nieces, Kacy Weatherford and Bree Weatherford; nephews, Tye Weatherford and Layne (Ashley) Weatherford; his daughter-in-law, Kathryn Schulz; his grandchildren, Christian, Corey, and Camden Crotser; Taryn (Shawn) Farmer; Hallie and Allison Schultz; many great nieces and nephews. Mark was preceded in death by his son, Greg Schulz. Due to the corona virus health concerns and ability to hold gatherings at this time, a Celebration of Life Service for Mark will be held later in the summer of 2020 with service information with dates and times to be announced later.
