Marla Kaye Thompson, age 52, of Fremont passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2017, at her home. Marla was born on July 19, 1965, in Flint to James Allen and Virginia Jean (Fischer) Martin and married Glenn Dean Thompson Jr. on August 6, 1994. Marla took great pride in being a mom, grandmother, and homemaker.

Marla is survived by her son, Glenn "DJ" (Jill) Thompson III of Rockford; grand-daughters, Ava and Zoey; mother, Ginger Fischer of Fremont; brothers, Tony (Lisa) Reichle and Bill (Amber) Reichle; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 3 PM on Saturday, November 25, 2017, from the Crandell Funeral Home in Fremont. In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to consider the Wounded Warriors Program. Friends may share memories and condolences online at www.crandellfh.com
