Marshall Eugene Beals, age 69, of Fremont passed away at home on Friday, September 11, 2020. Marshall was born on May 1, 1951, and had been a horse trainer and jockey in the West Michigan area. Marshall had a special gift when it came to horses and spent countless hours volunteering for Habitat for Humanity. Marshall's pride and joy was his son and cherished every second they spent together. Marshall is survived by his long time significant other, Sheila Kay Hastings; children, Marshall Montana Hink-Beals of Grant and Malia Gerold of California; 3 grandchildren; and brother, Chris Beals. He was preceded by his brother Roger Beals. There will be no services at this time. For a more lasting memorial, friends are asked to consider Habitat for Humanity.
