Fredenburg, Martin D. Martin D. Fredenburg, age 58 of White Cloud, passed away Monday, May 1, 2006 at the Mecosta County General Hospital in Big Rapids following a long battle with renal failure and several aneurysms. Martin was born on July 12, 1947 in White Cloud to Joseph H. and Susan M. (Kuhns) Fredenburg and has been a lifelong resident of the White Cloud area. He married Vicki Splitstone on May 14, 1970 in Croton and enjoyed hunting and fishing, working on his cars, gardening with Vicki and spending time with his grandchildren. Martin always had a good sense of humor through his tough days and was always willing to help others in their time of need. He had worked as a hi-lo operator at Dura until his disability. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Vicki of White Cloud; his mother, Susan Fredenburg of White Cloud; his children, Abigail (Gene) Barry of Hudson, New Hampshire; Melissa Ketchum of Stanwood; Mary Fredenburg of Big Rapids; Joel Fredenburg of White Cloud; 11 grandchildren; his sisters, Ruth Ann (Ralph) Rattin of White Cloud; Lois Johnson of White Cloud; Joanne (Jeff) Hensley of White Cloud; close friend and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, David & Kym Steffes of Rockford. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph H. Fredenburg; his twin sister, Mary Sims; his brother, Daniel Fredenburg. Funeral memorial services were held on Wednesday, May 3, 2006 from the Woodville Community Church with Pastor Foster Brummel presiding. Friends may consider the Martin D.
