Martyna G. Tyna Fowler, age 81 of Hersey, formerly of Edmonton, Kentucky and White Cloud, Michigan, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2011 at her son Daves home in Hersey. Tyna was born on January 21, 1930 in Grand Rapids to George and Anna (Degrinnea) Slominski and later married Donald Lee Fowler in 1951. Don preceded her in death on February 27, 2002. Tyna had been a homemaker all her life and enjoyed listening to and dancing to polkas. Tyna was a member of the Hersey Congregational Church. Tyna is survived by her children, Dave (Mary) Fowler of Hersey; Don (Darlene) Fowler of Cadillac; Kathy Smith of Hammond, Indiana; 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; her sister, Geraldine (Bob) Kinniburgh of Newaygo; her sister-in-law, Norma Slominski of Newaygo. She was preceded in death by her brother, George Slominski. VISITATION : Wednesday, May 25, 2011 from 2-4pm at Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel.
