Marvel A. Cousineau, age 79 of Bitely, passed away Wednesday at her home. She was born on May 8, 1921 in Home Twp., Newaygo County to Clyde and Mary Crandell and married Emmanuel Cousineau on May 15, 1939 in Buckley and has been a lifelong resident of the Bitely area. She had worked at the Ferris State University in the custodial department for 18 years until her retirement in 1984. She is survived by her husband, Emmanuel of Bitely, her sons, Lloyd Cousineau of Rockford; Leroy (Norva) Cousineau of Hastings; L.J. (Janet) Cousineau of Alto; Doug (Carol) Cousineau of Evart; 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brothers, Charlie (Helen) Crandell of Muskegon; Orion Crandell of Buckley; Fred (Gloria) Crandell of Traverse City. She was preceded in death by one son, Chuck in 1997 and one grandson, Garth Cousineau. Funeral services were held at a later date at the Cousineau Home.
