Bills, Mary (Jones) Mary (Jones) Bills, age 82 of Davison , Michigan , formerly of White Cloud, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2002 at the Lapeer Regional Hospital in Lapeer. She was born on August 20, 1920 in Blaney Park , Michigan to Meade and Myrtle ( Hamilton ) Knapp and later married Theodore E. Jones on April 22, 1939 in White Cloud. Theodore E. preceded her in death on January 22, 1988 . She has been a longtime resident of the White Cloud until she moved to Lapeer in1998. She was a member of the Big Prairie Community Church and had been active in the Foster Grandparent Program. She had been baker and cook at the Ferris State University in Big Rapids from 1964 until her retirement in 1982. She is survived by her children, Bonnie ( Gary ) Herfert of Metamora , Michigan ; Theodore L. (Sue) Jones Jr. of Sparta; Leonard (Janet) Jones Sr. of White Cloud; 12 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; her twin sister, Miriam Robart of Arizona. She was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters and her daughter-in-law, Valeta Jones. Funeral services were held on Monday, December 9, 2002 from the Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel with Rev. Jerry Jaquish presiding with interment in the Big Prairie Everett Township Cemetery . Friends may consider the White Cloud United Methodist Church Food Bank for memorial contributions.
