Mary Ellen Brown (Buttleman), age 59, passed away peacefully in her home on October 26, 2022, surrounded by her close family. She was born November 10, 1962, in Fremont, MI to Jack and Ellen (Getz) Buttleman. Mary graduated from White Cloud High School in 1980. Mary was a much-loved mother of Dawn and Scott Califf, and Allen and Tammy Brown. A cherished grandmother of Alexis Monroe, Christian Monroe, Jaxton Monroe, Kaiden Brown, Paige Brown, and Taylor Monroe. A dear sister of James Buttleman, Thomas Maike, Bonnie Buttleman, and the late John Buttleman, Alice Maike, and Angie Buttleman. Deeply remembered by many others. Mary was employed at Dura from 2003-2020. She formed many relationships during her time there. She also helped as a caretaker of her nephew Joey. She loved to hear him laugh. Mary enjoyed an easy-going life. She found pleasure creating gifts out of plastic canvas, taking pictures of nature-specifically birds and sunsets, and putting together puzzles and playing games with her grandchildren and family. Family meant the world to her. Mary was a selfless person who would give the shirt off her back if someone needed it. She did not know the meaning of the word "no." Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022, from 1 - 2 PM with a Celebration of Life and time of sharing starting at 2 PM at the White Cloud Funeral Home. There will be a Luncheon at the White Cloud Lion's Den following the Celebration and all are welcome. Interment will be in Big Prairie Cemetery.
