Mary V. Champion, age 92 of White Cloud, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont. Mary was born on July 14, 1924 in Brooklyn, New York and grew up in Brooklyn until she moved to the White Cloud area in 1946. Mary had been a waitress at Sallys for 20 years and also was a child care provider for many kids in White Cloud for over 15 years well into her 80s until her retirement. Mary was a dedicated and hard worker. Mary had enjoyed flower gardening and dancing in her younger years. Mary is survived by her children, Ronald (Marti) Champion of White Cloud; Kathleen (Roger) Foster of White Cloud; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild. VISITATION : Wednesday, August 24, 2016 from 5-7pm at Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel. INTERMENT : Big Prairie Everett Township Cemetery.
